SHAPING HIGH-QUALITY INCLUSIVE TVET FOR TUNISIA

The Project

The SHIFT Project endeavors to facilitate the digital evolution of Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Tunisia, particularly targeting the removal of obstacles hindering participation for marginalized learners of various backgrounds. This objective aligns with the ETF’s focus on advancing inclusive educational and training systems, ensuring equal opportunities for learners regardless of their social or personal circumstances.

OBJECTIVES

  • Improve the reach, participation, success, and outcome rates for all learners and disadvantaged learners in urban and rural areas by leveraging digital technologies to provide remote pedagogical, management, communication, and assessment tools for an initial, second chance, and lifelong learning across a wide range of fields.
  • Increase the employability of economically and socially vulnerable people, namely rural women in a wide range of sectors, such as agriculture, manufacturing and industrial technologies, transportation and logistics, business and financial services, hospitality, and tourism, by providing them with accessible online training courses.
